It's Sunday, Hallelujah! What an amazing week and extraordinary day I had. I was able to take all my little's to church and that in its self is a BIG deal. Praise Master J!! Garrod and I went for a drive/walk in the mountains, and when we got home we took the little's to the park(located in our backyard) and played baseball and tennis together. To top if off, I was able to eat Pizza Hut pizza one last time with the family. My diet doesn't start until Wednesday, so I have been loading up on all my favorite "no no" foods. Tomorrow, I am eating chicken fettuccine at Garlini's. Yummy!!

Today, I have smoked four cigerattes. Tomorrow I will smoke three, Tuesday smoke two, and Wednesday down to 1 a day for a while. Garrod and I talked today during our walk and he voiced his concern of my "BITCHNESS" when I don't have nicotine in my system. So after much debate I agreed to buy the patch, the gum, and keep a cigerrete at home, just in case I start freaking out needing nicotine. I know some of you(i am assuming someone is reading this) will not agree with my quit smoking plan, but I tell you "at least I have a plan". Every Sunday I am going to pick a scripture verse that I think will help me/us throughout the upcoming week.
Here it is.....
1 Corinthians 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endur.
Pretty awesome words!

Try the gum! I know it has been successful for several of my friends.

Brian's parents quit back in October, and have been smoke free since! They used the patch and I think the gum! It is super hard but I am proud of you!!!

Chrisy, just keep thinking of being healthy for your kids. They want to see you alive for a long time and smoking will reduce that time with them. Good luck sista! You can do it!!
